The club is now in its 47th year and one of the few organisations who managed during this long period to sustain active involvement three nights per week October to March. By tradition it is "men only" on Mondays, "ladies only" Wednesdays and mixed play on Fridays.

Currently we have about 45 paid up members with some 35 members playing regularly and a number of non-playing members who come to enjoy the craic and the social interaction. The bowling is not taken too seriously although our "friendly" matches with other churches are quite competitive. Our social activities include a Christmas outing to include dinner and entertainment and then the high light of the year our April end of season dinner and prize distribution when the trophies for the various competitions are awarded.

The bowling club take very seriously the needs of any of their members who may be ill or have difficulty with transport etc. and this caring attitude has no doubt had a bearing on 47 years of success.

A warm welcome awaits anyone who would like to give bowls a go. (Bowls are provided)
