Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. Young people can join Beaver Scouts at the beginning of each Scouting year in October with most coming from the Squirrel Section. After two years they can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between seven years and six months and eight years six months.
Easily recognized by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts and 33rd Belfast group scarf, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, arts and craft, going on visits and helping others.
Our programme during colony meetings is generally based on themed topics such as promise and faith, drama, healthy eating, health and fitness, emergency services, sports, the animal kingdom and looking after our world.
We meet as a Beaver Scout Colony on Thursday evening from 6.45pm - 8.00 pm in the Park Hall. You can contact the church office for further information.
